Echo Chamber

Unsuccessful pitch for a digital art exhibition by Control Shift in Bristol, UK.

The artwork will play a series of whispers from each ear to mimic our inner thoughts.

At different intervals, each ear will play different sounds with a slight offset from one side to the other. This is to highlight the overwhelming amount of incoming data. The final mode highlights the importance of slowing down and to be in the present by playing variations of ambient and calm sounds.

The ears represent all of our external channels of input, but in this installation they are used as outputs in order to re-imagine the relationship with both our bodies and our technology.
